[Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs] Gov. Kay Ivey has awarded more than $230,000 to assist victims of domestic violence in northeast Alabama while ensuring that those committing the crimes are punished. Funds are being provided to a non-profit agency that provides services for victims and to law enforcement agencies that work to arrest and prosecute offenders.
