[Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs] Gov. Kay Ivey has awarded a $38,888 grant to help Alabama prison inmates address addictions that likely led to or contributed to their incarceration. The grant to the Alabama Department of Corrections will help supply materials for a voluntary drug rehabilitation program offered to male and female inmates at 17 prisons and holding facilities throughout the state.
